Understanding the Chrome Extension: Reminders
Reminders is a Chrome extension that serves as an efficient task organizer, designed to help you manage your daily life seamlessly. With an aggregate rating of 3.78 out of 5, it's clear that it has earned the approval of its users. But what sets it apart? What features does it offer? And why should you consider using it for your task organization needs? Let's delve deeper.
Features of the Task Organizer Chrome Extension
Reminders offer four types of reminders: Text, Notification, New Tab, and Task. Each type is designed to cater to your specific needs, be it a simple reminder that you can cross out from your list, a timed notification, a URL reminder that opens in a new tab, or a task that allows you to mark it as done or postpone it.
With its 1.1.3 update, Reminders also now allows you to set your own default reminder parameters. The extension’s popup window size can also be changed, along with a custom period for reminder repeating. One of the exciting additions to this chrome productivity app is the synchronization feature between browsers logged in with the same Google account.
User Reviews and Feedback
The main factors behind this software's high rating are its outstanding features and positive user feedback. Users like Puneeth P and Paul Ruddlesdin highlighted the convenience and efficiency of the extension, while Colin Murray praised it for its functionality in opening a scheduled document for review. Ali Afzal commended it for its time-saving feature and being a true reminder.
However, some users like Sergey and Retro Moto Co expressed their concerns about the extension, particularly in the aspect of editing and repeating reminders. These remind us that while Reminders excels in many areas, there's always room for improvement. By continuously addressing these concerns, Reminders can further enhance their software and provide an even better user experience.
Organizing Daily Tasks with Reminders
In a world where multitasking has become a norm, a reliable task organizer is a must-have. The Reminders, a top Chrome extension, simplifies task prioritization and helps organize your daily schedule effectively. Its user-friendly interface and practical features make it a top choice for many. So if you're wondering how to organize daily tasks efficiently, consider trying out Reminders - it might just be the solution you're looking for.
20 Reviews For This Extension
Hi, I love the extension. However, over the years, in the task module, the "AM PM" button, next to the time for the task has actually moved out of the viewport. Can you please have the Dev team fix that? Also, sometimes, past notifications pop up too, can you please fix that as well?
We NEED a way to CHANGE AM and PM. All other's pretty good.
I'm facing trouble to mention AM/PM for reminder or there should be an option for 24 hour time. Please resolve this issue otherwise I'm gonna uninstall it.
Not So customizable But Good To Use
AM/PM selection missing
Can no longer create new reminders. After you click "done", they don't appear in the list. Bypassed by editing "past" reminders with new titles and date. Also, all repeat reminders disappear over the weekend. Deleted reminders still popping up. As mentioned below, it doesn't look like this extension is being maintained. Hard to believe there is no decent reminder extension on chrome.
Was very excited to get it but it behaves mysteriously. For example, I can set a NOTIFICATION to create a pop-up reminder and a sound for one-time but if I set to daily, it never works again. Also, I often get the SOUND reminder but no pop-up to tell me which notification it is. Very strange. Is the software still being maintained?
Compared to everything else out there, I'd normally give it 5-stars...but there is just one thing I need: The ability to set vague times, like "within 2 hours of x", or morning, afternoon, etc... ..and then, not necessarily related to this, would be allowing responses that could be recorded... ...for learning, one could have the system "remind" me again, only a tad sooner or later depending on how accurate my response w *this is because in my personal research I come across question I ask myself, and then later finding I forgot such a precious pearl... ...If only my laptop would sak me the question at vague logarithmic intervals** ...Maybe even wiki-fy it, such that others grade answers to various questions, and how soon you get asked the same question depends on how well you answer..
works exactly how I need it to work
I set a reminder for July in May, went off a week later. Checked the extension options and there's no time or date option. Deleted and re-downloaded, still no time/date setting. Pretty useless without that.
I'm not a fan of extensions on my browser so I only install the must-have's. This is one of them. When I stumble upon a website I'm going to need weeks from now, I just set it so it opens that website again then. I can make it stubborn and remind me every so often. And to the review below me right now, yes, you can edit and delete reminders. Imagine your cursor is a finger, hold/swipe left on the reminder and it will display 2 buttons: edit, delete. The buttons are not visible on hover, it's more like when you're on your phone. It's fine to me but it's not intuitive.
Can't edit or delete reminders.
great extension. please add weekdays and weekend-days option for repeated tasks
Great app.
Love this extension. I use it daily mainly for timesheet reminder at work. It would be good to have a week day setting in the repeat options please
I use this app to help remind me of things I need to come back to later, and it really helps keep me on track!
Why doesn't it show reminder text popup while using any reminder type?
Great app. For me, being able to open a new tab automatically on a schedule with a document I need to review (e.g. meeting notes) is extremely helpful. It gets a bit messy trying to configure it, the UI really needs a full-screen version. There's also no way to give alerts nicknames so if you have many alerts it gets very confusing very quickly. I'm also not 100% sure but I feel I have noticed occasional buggyness with when certain alerts fire or if they fire at all. Overall it's not too bad, but sometimes I have found alerts going off at odd times or having their schedule shifted or removed.
Its pretty much useless. You cannot even edit the reminder
it works the way you wanted, time saving and an example of true reminder
